IAMU will hold its 26_th Annual Water and Wastewater Operator’s Training Workshop on November 18-20, 2020. As we prepare for this yearly training that brings together municipal water and wastewater operators from around Iowa, we are asking for presentation proposals. The presentations must provide educational content and must not be sales pitches for specific products or services because members will be receiving continuing education credit for their time at the workshop.

Once completed, the Call for Presentations Form may be emailed to Steve.

Each community public water supply system (CWS) is required to distribute the annual Consumer Confidence Report to its consumers by July 1^st. Even if a system uses the template sent to it by DNR in March, a copy of what was actually distributed to the consumers must be submitted to DNR by July 1_st.

Send a copy of the CCR to DNR by July 1_st.  The certification must be sent to DNR after the distribution is complete, no later than October 1_st, as directed in the letter sent to each CWS in March 2020. Many systems submit the copy of the report and the certification at the same time to DNR, before July 1_st.

If a CWS needs an electronic copy of the CCR and/or Certification Form, please send the request to CCR@dnr.iowa.gov.  This is an email address that all of our environmental specialists can access.
