						Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) has been offering technical assistance to five APPA members with the purpose of identifying utility challenges related to energy resilience in rural communities and help to ensure that the utilities are provided with technical assistance to overcome these challenges through deployments of energy storage.  PNNL has provided these utilities assistance in understanding community benefits, funding opportunities assistance, techno-economic analysis, and regulatory and policy assistance.
