On Sept. 6, Midwest Energy News named Simpleray’s Tyler Anderson as a recipient of its prestigious 40 Under 40 award. Each year, Midwest Energy News recognizes Midwest-based leaders and innovators from all sectors for their work in America’s transition to a clean energy economy.
More than 200 individuals were nominated for the 40 awards. Anderson’s selection was based on his pioneering efforts to bring solar to underserved markets, including farmers and rural businesses.
Anderson founded Simpleray, a solar development and EPC firm based in Fairfield, Iowa. Simpleray got its start in Iowa under the name Iowa Wind and Solar and quickly grew to one of the largest solar installers in the state. From there, the firm expanded its presence throughout the Midwest.
