Each pipeline operator is responsible for developing an OQ program, following their written OQ plan, establishing a covered task list applicable to their system, and defining the training and qualification requirements for personnel performing covered tasks on their pipeline. IAMU has developed a natural gas OQ plan specific to its members. This OQ plan meets as well as exceeds all requirements mandated by PHMSA. The IAMU OQ plan and program provides the following to its members.
