Three days of valuable information and hands-on training for underground electric personnel, September 14 - 16. Utility workers, instructors, and product presenters will once again join together to bring you the latest information. A workshop luncheon allows attendees to mingle and network in an informal setting. To assure the best possible learning environment in the technical sessions, workshop participants will be divided into small groups. Each group will rotate through the entire schedule until all courses on the agenda have been completed.
Maximum registrations capped at 48 participants. Equipment & PPE Due to the nature of the workshop, attendees are required to bring: - Hard Hat
- Safety Glasses & Hearing Protection
- Leather Gloves
- Rubber Gloves / Sleeves
- Rain Gear
- Proper Footwear (NO SNEAKERS)
Wearing of PPE will be enforced! Students without proper PPE will not be allowed on the training field. Limited quantities of PPE may be available.
Apprenticeship Testing & Skill Evaluations Apprentices will have the opportunity to take their written, year-end final exams and hands-on skill evaluations the morning of Wednesday, September 15th or Friday, September 17th after the workshop. These are the only available times for evaluations and are limited to the first 10 apprentices to sign up. Apprentices must pre-register for testing and evaluations *APPRENTICES will receive 10 Underground & 2 Basic OJT hours for attendance.*
